Creative Stage Educational Philosophy

 

The most important thing in art activities is immersion. Empathy and immersion in the topic are achieved through motivational materials such as images, children's books, and videos. When child immerse themselves in a topic, child creative thinking and skills through training also improve. The most important thing in our preschool program is to generate interest, fun, and interest in today's topic.

 

Art is a great medium of communication that allows you to express your feelings honestly and beautifully. At Creative Stage, we express our thoughts through paintings and sculptures and encourage children to solve problems on their own. The teacher only gives advice or help with the idea, but makes all the decisions and announces the results, reminding the child that it takes time and effort to think carefully. We provide education so that you can feel self-satisfaction, confidence and a sense of accomplishment with the results. In a discussion-style class, we use mind maps to design topics to express in brainstorming in advance. We use Brainstorm maps to design topics to express through brainstorming in advance. Brainstorm maps stimulate imagination and creativity by connecting the thinking of the left and right brains. It is used as an optimal technique for analytical and creative activities.

​Before & After-School Program 

 

Creative Stage is a licensed to provide before&after-school care program in White Rock. It is available to students from kindergarten to grade 6.

*We also provide pick up and drop off at White Rock Elementary,  Peach Arch Elementary and H.T. Thrift Elementary Schools.*

 

Program days/times

• The program is offered Monday–Friday including school spring, summer and winter breaks. 

• Before-school care runs from 7:00am – 8:30am 

• After-school care runs from 2:30pm – 5:45 pm

 

Designed to encourage an even deeper understanding and appreciation of artistic expression, our school age care program is perfect for kids that love creativity and learning! At Creative Stage,  children will learn about different aspects of painting and will have the opportunity to work with various mediums, multimedia and collages, and much more. Young artists are encouraged to express their creativity freely, without any judgment. The focus of our after school art sessions is to go beyond old-fashioned methods of art instruction and to have a ton of fun encouraging the kids to express themselves.
